Modus Welcomes Jennifer Noronha as Senior Consultant

Modus Strategic Solutions welcomes Jennifer Noronha, a nuclear professional with more than 34 years of experience, to our team as a senior consultant.

Jennifer brings experience in a wide range of areas including strategy, engineering, culture / change management, project management, leadership, waste management, radiation protection and nuclear oversight positions.  She spent 18 years at Ontario Power Generation’s Darlington site, six years at its Pickering site, and two years in Refurbishment before she joined the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.

Jennifer has always been responsible to lead teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives and technical programs that were instrumental drivers for improved facility or program performance. At Darlington, this included implementing the station alignment for an improvement tool called Navigator, the plan to move from a two- to a three-year outage cycle program, aligning the three sites to one standardized set of radiation protection procedures and training for cost savings, developing the first ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) program and implementing productivity and compliance changes to the zonal monitoring system that still exists today. 

At Pickering A, Jennifer helped put in place a human performance simulator program, drove the corrective action program to industry-leading levels and initiated an equipment reliability restoration plan and program.  She was part of the starting leadership team for refurbishment, helping with required strategies. 

At the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, she led conceptual repository design and lifecycle costing for the low and intermediate-level repository as well as other strategic initiatives. This recently included a 30-month implementation of new integrated processes and systems for procurement, project control, finance, payroll and HR on a cloud platform with interactive training sessions for the whole organization and six months of post-implementation support as they learned new skills.
